November 10th is when the Supreme Court takes up the issue of the ACA with a ruling expected sometime early 2021. If the court decides to invalidate the ACA, eleven million individuals will find themselves without health insurance and our healthcare insurance system will be in chaos because the Trump Administration does not have an alternative to take the ACA's place. That leaves those who had insurance under the ACA to struggle with where to get health insurance and whether they will qualify for such, (particularly those who have preexisting conditions). Many Americans rely on the ACA to meet their health insurance needs. Is the ACA perfect, far from it. However, a vote to eliminate it without a reasonable alternative already in place is another example of politics driving policies which are ill considered.
